Searching Mwendo is easy. There is a basic search and an advanced search. The latter allows you to specify in detail attributes and amenities of possible matches.

For domestic searches within the United States and Canada, you should enter the city and state/province name or abbreviation.

For international searches, you need to enter the city and country name or country abbreviation.

If you do not know how to properly spell a city or country name, simply use the wildcard character '%' in place of letters and words that you may have difficulty spelling. For example:

• Mwendo will search 'Lond%n, Un%dom' as 'London, United Kingdom'.
• 'Lo%geles, Cal%nia' as 'Los Angeles, California'.

However, when posting a listing, you must provide the full and correct spelling of the city and country/state/province.
